![]() You can't sign in to your Google account, but you can use Chrome browser. Just uploaded a video to Facebook using the webpage. There's certainly a Google licensing issue between DJI and the US, but this does not explain why they are now using MapTiler though as opposed to MapBox, but then MapBox is US based so its either the same issue as Google or their pricing. I will have to look for a hacked version of it if i really want it on there. Heck, i cant even use the paid-for premium version of my weather app because it needs to talk to the Google Play Store to see if i have a sub. If one could root the RC Pro then you might be able to install GApps manually but I'm not sure that would even work because you cannot manually add other accounts to the RC, only the DJI account. Download Google Satellite Maps Downloader 8.392 - Grab maps for offline use by adding valid coordinates into the app, also combining parts for other projects that work with more popular map formats. Google Satellite Maps Downloader has other additional Feature also lets you stash some results mengombinasi image into a large image formats such as BMP. Im not sure if DJI even has a choice in the matter, but 100% this is the reason why we cannot have google maps on the screened RC's, which is a shame because i much prefer to use Chrome where i can sign in and all my data is synced, passwords the lot, we cant even sign into Chrome without Google services installed. You keep waiting for good news from me hahaha Open the Edge browser and visit the Google Maps website. Here’s how to download & install Google Maps as an app on Windows via Edge browser. Like Google Chrome, you can also use the Edge browser to download Google Maps on your PC. ![]() I contacted DJI support and they told me to give them 4 to 5 days for them to survey directly with DJI engineering and they will reply to me. Download Google Maps for PC via Edge Browser. Why has DJI quietly ignored the issue ? I'd be grateful if anyone knows of a workaround or why hundreds of users have not complained to DJI to get them to fix it. I cannot believe that DJI have not addressed this issue as it makes both the RC and RC PRO controllers unfit for purpose and I object to paying AU$1599 for the RC PRO to find it's been a known problem for some time. Live View availability This feature is only available in select countries. Discover and navigate places in the real world with the help of Live View. As far as I can tell, from searching various forums, both the RC and RC PRO have their own GPS and that's why using location gives the correct result. Get started with transit payment options. The maps DJI use - MapBox being one, are out of date and any attempt to see a satellite view is useless, as also illustrated here. However, the Fly app doesn't use that to display a current position within the app and defaults to that nominated by the app on DJI servers. Google launched a new mode for Maps on Wednesday, designed to give users a more real-life look at the places they’re going before they even go. I can use "Location" on the Fly app and get a perfectly good satellite image of wherever I nominate. However, if I use the RC controller, or the RC PRO, on a mobile hotspot or home wifi, I have an out of date map (by about 4 years) in map view and a totally unusable satellite view - just as posted here. If I use my RC N1 controller with my iPhone, everything works perfectly and both the maps and satellite views are as they should be - it even asks what maps you want to use e.g. I bought an RC PRO so that I could use it for my Mini3Pro and my Air2S.
